A 22-year-old Arizona man was sentenced to five years in jail Tuesday for a water cannon attack on his neighbor’s lawn.
Joshua Brown of the Navajo Nation was convicted of a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child stemming from an April attack.
The attack took place outside a house where the defendant was living in a trailer.
The victim suffered minor injuries, and was able to return to his property after treatment, according to court documents.
A jury also found Brown not guilty of a felony count of assault and battery on a child.
He will serve his sentence in a juvenile detention center.
